The Stockholm Jazz Orchestra has played modern swinging big band jazz in the tradition for more than 25 years.
The band has toured Argentina, Uruguay, South Africa, USA, England, Switzerland, Ireland and Scandinavia and played festivals and clubs like the Village Vanguard (NYC), Ronnie Scott’s (London UK), Pori Jazz Festival (Finland), Copenhagen Jazz Festival (Denmark) among other venues. The latest tour abroad was in the fall of 2011 when the band opened the big cultural festival de Cervantino in Mexico. App. 10 000 people listened to the bands three concerts in Mexico.
Twelve CDs , one LP and a big number of radio shows in Sweden is also on the CV.
