Njabuloseh lists D’Angelo, Rahsaan Patterson, Lucky Dube and Jabu Khanyile as some of his influences. He brings these worlds altogether with his beautiful voice to present a soulful, authentic, and distinctly South African performance.
The most prominent subject he explores in his music is love. Through song, Njabuloseh examines and documents the many layers of love, from the frivolous to the profound, while celebrating and articulating feelings of infatuation, longing, and heartbreak.
“Rich, buttery soul with layers of funk, jazz and a kwaito bounce delivered mostly ngesiZulu” is how Njabuloseh describes his music.
